Vulcanization transforms the rubber from the thermoplastic into the elastomeric state at temperatures between 150 and 200 °C. CBS is loaded to the rubber in concentrations of 0.5– 1% (ww) but it breaks down during the curing process. The most important products of rubber industry are automobile tires which take about 2/3 of the total rubber production. The remaining rubber is used for various types of “rubber goods”.
